The What:

Join teacher Jenson and fellow creatives to learn all about sgraffito! A technique using underglaze and carving to create relief images. This technique produces unique images in a style similar to some printmaking.

Great for all levels of ceramicists, whether this be your first introduction to clay or you are established and want to learn more!

We will create a pinch pot, apply underglaze, and learn carving tools and applications. Designs can be simple and elegant patterns, all the way to full illustrations. Inspiration imagery will be provided for those that want it.

The Who:

• Ages 16+

• beginners, intermediate, advance potters welcome

• anyone who wants to learn new skills

Materials and firing for one piece are included in the price. Members and currently enrolled students may bring their own pieces to design and decorate in addition.
